The Good Dog Bar has been a wonderful supporter of the Refuge for many years. The Refuge is indebted to the Good Dog Bar for their generous support.

Enjoy a wonderful evening of beautful art, fine wine and good beer while helping homeless Philly pets! Artists for Animals is having an art show & benefit for the Morris Animal Refuge on Tues, Oct. 25th between 5 - 8pm at bwa gallery, 2400 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, PA 19103 (entrance on 24th Street).

There's a $10 donation at the door, and a silent auction of artwork running from 5 - 7pm, with proceeds going to help the Refuge's mission of sheltering and rehoming the abandoned and abused pets of the Philadelphia region. We'll be there with info about animal adoption and more. Come and show your support!

Artists: If you're interested, there's still time! Works can be submitted for consideration at artistsforanimalsbenefit@yahoo.com through Oct. 20th (but must be delivered by Oct. 21st).  Arists for Animals asks that all accepted work be framed and donated for the cause.

First and foremost, we would like to personally that each and every individual who attended our Fur Ball 2011. We also want to extend our most sincere thanks to the many businesses and individuals who donated items and services to both our Silent and Live Auctions. Without you, the Fur Ball 2011 would not have been successful.  Please take a moment to see the impressive list of donors from Fur Ball 2011 under Past Events and also make it a point to patronize these most generous businesses and individuals.

Fur Ball 2012 will be on March 31, 2012 at the Arts Ballroom, and the word is that it will outshine all previous Fur Balls. We are most pleased and honored to announce that Robert S. Beck, our Vice President of the Morris Board, has once again stepped up to the plate and will be chairing the Fur Ball 2012 Committee. This will be Rob's fourth time at bat in this position, so we are guaranteed to have a smashingly fun and successful night.

For those of you interested, we are currently seeking energetic and talented volunteers to assist us in undertaking this huge endeavor. We can most certainly use your skills and abilities from your lifetime experiences. Volunteers are needed in a wide range of activities. For example: planning, obtaining sponsors, staffing pre-events, decorations, obtaining items for the silent auction, staffing the silent auction at the event, publicity/PR, writing (press releases, publications, website, e-mail blasts), plus a wide range of administrative areas. So, if you are up to a good time and working with some pretty fantastic people, please complete our Volunteer Application Form.  You can either:
