The unofficial Betty White Challenge was spawned as a way to support one of White’s favorite causes — animals.
Sadly, White passed away just weeks before her 100th birthday. The death shocked the nation, as many were planning on celebrating her milestone birthday on Jan. 17. As a way to honor her, The Betty White Challenge was started.
Throughout Betty White's life she dedicated a great amount of her time supporting animal welfare organizations. She was involved with the Greater Los Angeles Zoo Association, American Humane, Guide Dogs for the Blind, Endangered Wolf Center and BraveHearts Therapeutic Riding and Educational Center.
To celebrate Betty White's life, join the challenge and donate to your local animal welfare organization, like Morris Animal Refuge, in her name.SOCIAL SHARE
